Our partnership collectively offers extensive competence and expertise pertaining to the project’s scope and objectives across scientific, technological, and training-related domains. In particular, it consists of 8 partners from 6 European countries with a smooth geographic distribution.

Coordinator
Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH)
DUTH is expanding to the cities of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and was recently strengthened with the schools of Kavala, Drama and Didymoteicho. DUTH is among the largest universities in the country in terms of active student population, with 10 Schools, 28 Departments, 42,000 students and 700 research and teaching staff. Apart from coordinating the project, DUTH plays a pivotal role in the project, providing expertise in educational technology and essential technical support for the eLearning/mLearning platform (Department of Accounting & Finance)

Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH)
AUTH is the second oldest tertiary education institution and the largest university in Greece with more than 88.000 active students and more than 2.300 faculty members. AUTH team members bring valuable expertise to the project, specifically focusing on knowledge of antidoping. AUTH will also play a crucial role in leveraging its expertise to contribute to the creation of educational materials for the project (School of Physical Education & Sports Science).

Leipzig University (LU)
Leipzig University, founded in 1409, is one of the oldest universities in Europe and a leading institution of higher education and research. With 14 faculties, over 130 institutes, and approximately 5,300 staff members, it currently supports more than 31,000 students across 158 degree programmes. Leipzig University’s sport psychology team brings expertise on doping in sports to the project, playing a vital role by contributing valuable insights and specialist knowledge.

The European Federation of the Associations of Dietitians (EFAD)
EFAD is the umbrella organization for the National Dietetic Associations across Europe. EFAD’s primary goal is to improve nutritional health and promote sustainable diets in Europe by advocating the leadership role for dietitians in collaboration with its members and stakeholders. All with the aim of improving the health and lives of European citizens. The role of the EFAD in the AntiDop project involves providing expertise on supplement use among athletes, supporting material development, and assisting in recruiting ASPs in the pilot studies.

SPORT COACHING EUROPE (SCE)
SCE is a not-for-profit, continental organization with the mission of leading and developing sport coaching in Europe. With a presence in over 30 countries, SCE seeks to enhance the quality of sport coaching at every level of sport. The team of SCE has an extensive global coaching network and by utilizing their coaching expertise, they will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of the pilot studies.

Sports Medicine Association of Serbia (SMAS)
SMAS is an association of sports medicine specialists, doctors of other specialties, as well as other sports experts who are involved in health care activities for improving the physical abilities of professional and recreational athletes in the territory of the Republic of Serbia. The team of SMAS will play a crucial role in the successful implementation of the AntiDopproject thanks to their expertise and professional backgrounds into doping in sports.

Lithuanian Anti-Doping Agency (LTU-NADO)
The LTU NADO is the national anti-doping agence of Lithuania. It will bring regulatory knowledge and expertise on antidoping protocols, ensuring that the educational program aligns with ethical considerations and compliance standards. Their contribution will be vital in developing content that reflects the regulatory landscape and prepares learners for real-world scenarios.

International Hellenic University (IHU)
IHU is headquartered in Thessaloniki and has educational and administrative facilities in six cities. It is the sole public university in Greece offering Study Programs in English covering diverse subjects to meet modern university standards. IHU brings into the project domain expertise and knowledge on athlete’s diet and nutritional supplements (Department of Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics).
